Picnic on the Plaza 2007

The seventh annual picnic on the Milner Plaza, held Friday, September 14, 2007, was another success with a good turn-out thanks to everyone who attended. Serving time was 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m, and the menu was the same as last year which included fried chicken, a dinner roll, coleslaw, potato salad, a cookie, and a choice of soda or water.

The price per meal remained at a mear $6, and tickets were purchased from Civil Service Council members prior to the picnic, or at the door.

Proceeds from this fund-raising event benefits the Civil Service Scholarship Fund.

This lunch was open to all faculty, staff, retirees, and students, and everyone seemed to enjoy the food and company.
