Children's Holiday Party 2006
The Civil Service Council and the AP Council again jointly coordinated the ISU Children's Holiday Party
for children and grandchildren of all ISU faculty, staff, and students.
The popular Children’s Holiday Party took place at 10 a.m. in the large gym at Horton Field House on
Saturday, December 2, 2006.
The event featured the usual engaging performance by Illinois State’s Gamma Phi Circus,
but the new location provided extra seating with portable bleachers. New activities and games were added this year which included:
a corner focusing on the diversity of the holiday season, face and henna painting, clowns, 2 inflatable "jumping" houses, and more!
Reggie Redbird made an appearance, as did Santa, Mrs. Claus and some elves.
Cookies and punch were served and each child received a small goodie bag to take away with them.
The Children’s Holiday Party is co-sponsored by the Civil Service and AP Councils for the benefit of the entire campus.
We are looking forward to an even bigger and more exciting event next year that we hope you will be able to attend!
