Events/Awards/Achievements:
- Held a raffle for benefit of the scholarship fund ($1,454 raised).
- Awarded four $500 scholarships to children and grandchildren of
Civil Service staff.
- Members of the Council attended the Merit Board meeting in Champaign.
- Nearly 200 people attended the Council picnic.
- Investigated the campus relationship with MNBA (credit cards solicitation).
- Participated in the Homecoming parade.
- Holiday Party starring the Gamma Phi Circus was held for children and grandchildren of all Civil Service Employees.
- Participated in the WJBC Brotherhood Tree gift collection
- Investigated ways to improve the delivery of mail once it reaches the departments.
- Purchased a case, reader, and extra memory for the Council's digital camera
- Reviewed and contributed to the revised Shared Governance Report.
- Awarded four Distinguished Service Awards.
